Well hello there! 🪽

My name is Julia Presten. I am a 28-year-old originally from New York City and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  When I was 17, I started 🪽ANGELIC NYC🪽 as an ultra-soft line of apparel adorned with angel wings with the purpose of bringing out the very best in all of us! 💖😇✨ A percentage of the profits from 🪽ANGELIC NYC🪽 support various charities.

I believe that I was put on this earth to spread kindness and love, a belief that manifests itself in ANGELIC NYC. My brand seeks to remind us how beautiful and wonderful we all are, and spread angelic energy to the world!💖

I came up with the idea of 🪽ANGELIC NYC🪽 in the spring of 2014, and never looked back. I started by winging it… literally! Growing up, I always had an entrepreneurial spirit — I started lemonade stands, I sold lollipops to benefit victims of the 2004 Tsunami and I made and sold bracelets to provide aid for those affected by Hurricane Katrina. I started an eBay business during middle school, worked for wholesale fashion showroom in LA one high school summer, and the following school year at an NYC clothing store. However, 🪽ANGELIC NYC🪽emerged from my Junior Year Independent Study program and, ten months later, I sold my first piece, and I was able to work for my Senior Internship in high school. Our first 100 pieces sold out in just a few days all by word of mouth! By the time I left for college, 🪽ANGELIC NYC🪽 was in stores, seen across social media and sported by celebrities & influencers of all ages. In all honesty, I began this journey with no clue how to start and run a legitimate business. Regardless of how old you are or how much you know, passion and belief in yourself - is really what it takes!
