Well hello there!

My name is Julia Presten. I am a 26-year-old originally from New York City and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I studied Human Development & Family Studies. When I was 17, I started ANGELIC NYC as an ultra-soft line of apparel adorned with angel wings with the purpose of bringing out the very best in all of us! 💖😇✨ A percentage of the profits from ANGELIC NYC support various charities.

I believe that I was put on this earth to spread kindness and love, a belief that manifests itself in ANGELIC NYC. My brand seeks to remind us how beautiful and wonderful we all are, and spread angelic energy to the world!💖

I came up with the idea of ANGELIC NYC in the spring of 2014, and never looked back. I started by winging it… literally! Growing up, I always had an entrepreneurial spirit — I started lemonade stands, I sold lollipops to benefit victims of the 2004 Tsunami and I made and sold bracelets to provide aid for those affected by Hurricane Katrina. I started an eBay business during middle school, worked for wholesale fashion showroom in LA one high school summer, and the following school year at an NYC clothing store. However, ANGELIC NYC emerged from my Junior Year Independent Study program and, ten months later, I sold my first t-shirt, and I was able to work for my Senior Internship in high school. Our first 100 pieces sold out in just a few days all by word of mouth! By the time I left for college, ANGELIC NYC was in stores, seen across social media and sported by celebrities & influencers of all ages. In all honesty, I began this journey with no clue how to start and run a legitimate business. Regardless of how old you are or how much you know, passion and belief in yourself - is really what it takes!
